So I have finally developed one of my disposables, and received most of my March photos, and luckily they all came out reasonably well. So now i am organized and still haven't missed a day! below are a few favourites from the last month, I will try and post more regularly again.

Catching up

The last week has involved me spending a lot of time on my assessment which i successfully handed in. So thats a lot of stress off my shoulders! I have also noticed my increasing reliance on film, and that organization of my daily photos has become worse. As i can not track back which days i took photos, it is hard to remember what i took on the days missing from my digital images! However i got some holga shots developed today, really impressed with the results.

This means i have a caught up with the 7th and 25th where i took a couple shots

Job Hunting

Went around the bullring yesterday asking around for jobs.. wasn't too successful but had a few positive comments. hopefully will be able to get one after easter.. no interesting photography though...

Max

Max msp is taking up too much of my thoughts and time at the moment. need to build an advanced synthesizer for tuesday... dam. Had a good shred on my guitar on tuesday for the first time in a couple weeks. also went for a little skate in the sun.

Time Consuming

Recently i haven't been very productive with my photos, been busy with assessments and trying to get a job! need to get back on track. However i am excited for my next holga prints to be ready and also to develop my current disposable and get some photos :)

On monday I had an interesting experience, after applying to be a mystery shopper online, i had my first"mission' to go an eat a subway and get paid for it.. not too bad really. I awarded the employee a certificate for good customer service and i think i made the managers day. how lovely.

Underground

Went down to London at the weekend, stayed at Brogans then went to a nice family dinner by tower bridge on sunday.. for friday and saturday i took some shots on my disposable (which will hopefully come out) but sunday i took this on the underground realizing i havent really documented much this weekend....

Drawing time

Had a day of lectures thursday, made this drawing of robin at lunch time... oh so arty

Skating

Had a lazy morning today, then eventually got up and out on my skateboard in the sunshine! filmed some stuff with my new go pro camera also, which was a good test! working on putting some clips together, heres a freeze frame,

need to really get on with some work for university now...

Collection

Yesterday i collect my photos which had been developed from the disposable i took on holiday, really pleased with the shots, still loving film. This is a shot of busy town yesterday, however went for a skate later on and took some more film shots.

Finally

back in birmingham, spending a lot of time with brogan after a long time apart! went around town for a couple hours, got some photos picked up and developed, whilst sitting down and she look through hers, noticed this man reading on this bench, felt like quite an innocent scene to me, great lighting too

Shire

Was back at home with my mum for a day on sunday after my long flight, trying to stay awake i went out, on the way back i noticed this view and the low sun. Forget that where i live is pretty rural.

Home

So i have been a bit delayed with putting up the last few shots of my holiday in colorado, has been an amazing week, makes me want to go live out there so bad. Instead of posting them individually here is the last 3 photos from the last three days in vail.

My dad on the chair lift in vail. filmed a lot the last few days on this little camera, i have talked to a friend and will soon master the art of video editing! think i will film a lot this summer.

On friday, the last day skiing, we went out ridiculous truck and drove to the resort of beaver creek. The place i first ever put skis on, so was nice to visit there again. There was a cool little park to and fresh powder so was an amazing day, got lots of stuff filmed there too! Sad to leave the snowboard for another year, but if im lucky i might be going away in december!

Familiarity

Yesterday the father and I ventured to the town of Breckenridge. Which is a resort we have been to multiple times, and i think will always remind me of the best of my childhood times! i forgot what a great place it was. We also went to the peak which is just under 13,000 feet, the descent was quite a challenge! loving it.

Sun shines on

Pretty epic view. liking the dramatic shadows too. Colorado is an amazing place.

Blue Bird

Playing with some ice whilst chilling at the mountain restaurant! im liking this new go pro camera. the photos are of a reasonable quality considering the size and price! this photo was taken on the 28th. have a few more to upload. we have had 4 days of sunshine and good snow, and today we woke up to fresh powder! incredibly lucky

Vail Village

The snow and weather has been perfect so far. sunny three days in a row and loads of snow! a picture of the river on sunday... my dad also purchased a go pro yesterday, meaning a lot of playing around with that, want to start getting into making videos!
