The last ones

Currently in Bishops Stortford with all the family, been a good couple days, especially with seeing my new baby cousin Zach!

I have just uploaded the last 3 photos from Saudi, really enjoyed going through them, definitely the most interesting trip for photography I have ever had! I am much too lucky

Can't wait for what new year will hold for my photography, think I might work on a collage of my favourites from the year and upload soon!

One last picture from the food market of Taif. I was fascinated by their displays, and the way each owner of the stall sat within their fruit on the stand.

Strangely enough this image is one of my favourites from the trip. I only realised after looking over it a few weeks after taking it. I think the way (my dad) is standing so out of place and lost in the middle of vast desert makes for an interesting and random photo. I love the way he is posed and i feel it creates a strong representation of your typical expat situation, a western man out of place in an Arab country.

I captured this scene just as we were leaving for the car to go home. A Shepard wandered past us with his flock of sheep, slowly they all followed him through the desert. You can see them here walking off into the distance. This last scene really had an impact on how we forget the way people still live their lives, this mans day to day routine including rounding up his sheep in the desert.

Got a new Canon AE1 for christmas, look out for a lot of shots with that over the next year!

Peace
